GLOW BY DM - OUR FIRST TRADE FAIR EXPERIENCE

What an eventful but also exhausting weekend! The Glow by dm was an amazing experience. Over 10,000 visitors flocked through the venerable halls of the STATION Berlin to experience the latest trends of the beauty scene - all excellently organised & orchestrated by the organizers. Hundreds of female visitors visited our booth and wanted to know everything  - brand, history, founders, ingredients, packaging materials and much more. We were able to spread 1,000 sachets of our Geisha Glow Phytoactive Youth Cream to curious users - the Tozaime Jade Rollers convinced many on site.

THE JOURNEY AND THE CONSTRUCTION (19.-20.09.2019)

590 km, at least that's what Google Maps says, from our headquarters to the STATION Berlin, the exhibition center. What doesn't sound like much, turns out to be traffic hell.  On thursday the event started: picking up the transporter from Sixt, loading it and hoping for the best. Friday night 1:30 o'clock after over 7 hours drive we are finally there, exhausted but happy.
Friday morning we were for the first time as an exhibitor at a fairground, cool! We were allowed to unload from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., which worked great. Then it was time for the construction, somehow weird when everyone around us is already finished because they hired professional stand builders and we just started with our booth. After 8 hours then the booth acceptance procedure. Why we were nervous? See the pictures. ;) So much potentially flammable material! But the shock came when the technical manager took out his lighter and subjected 2 of the lamps directly to the flammability test - passed and happily went to the hotel.

For the carpet we can do nothing, which was made available to us ;)

OUR FIRST FAIR - WHAT AN EXPERIENCE (21.-22.09.2019)

It was amazing how many people could fit into such a small room - at 9:30 a.m. the first visitors streamed into the grounds. The first questions were not long in coming, we haven't experienced anything like this before. The cream was extensively tested on site and everything worth knowing was asked. Especially the mums of the (partly) quite young visitors liked the product. Many liked the Jade Roller to further improve their daily beauty routine. We have to admit that we didn't recognize all influencers and stars on stage directly (thanks to Google). But also Judith Williams & Thomas Hayo took a look at our booth.

One of the highlights followed on Sunday - the 'Taff' reporters dropped by our booth and wanted to know everything exactly. What kind of brand is it, where did you come from and how did you come across the beauty secrets of the Geishas?
